Product information for purchasing teams
Weathering steel contains small additions of copper, chromium and nickel. In alternating wet and dry weather it forms a tight, adherent oxide layer that slows further corrosion, so structures can be left unpainted. It is used for bridges, facades, chimneys and landscape work. It is not suited to constantly wet or salt-spray conditions.
